Boy crushed and killed in lumber truck accident in Spanish Lookout

By BBN Staff: BBN has received reports that a 12-year-old boy was crushed and killed in an accident in Greenhills, Spanish Lookout yesterday afternoon after a trailer truck carrying lumber flipped.

According to sources, the boy was killed on impact after the trailer flipped sometime around 3 p.m. yesterday. His father was also injured in the accident and has been hospitalized.

It is not clear what caused the accident and police are yet to issue an official report on the incident. The boy and his father have been identified as Widel and Pedro Garcia from Los Tambos Village.
