By BBN Staff: The Director of Health Services, Marvin Manzanero informed on Ask the Experts yesterday morning that the Ministry of Health can conduct 90 test per day on average.
Manzanero said that the Ministry of Health has the ability to conduct 8,000 tests.
“So, we will have the ability to do eight thousand tests. Again, this is important because I see a lot of people saying that we are not testing enough. We have discussed this at length. I said the last time Monday and then we met with CARPHA that week that no country in the region is really doing random testing the way we are in the general population,” Manzanero noted.
The Central Medical Laboratory received an additional 3,000 viral swabs from the Pan American Health Organization/ World Health Organization yesterday.
