Another hot day ahead, 100 degree temperature expected inland

The latest weather forecast from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that hot and relatively unstable conditions will dominate our weather.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers will be isolated along with isolated thunderstorms over the Maya mountains this afternoon and over the south tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 91 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 100 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 86 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 81 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 75 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East-Southeast at 5-15 knots and the sea state will be choppy.

High tide will come in at 11:42 a.m. and low tide will occur at 7:24 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:22 p.m. and the sun will rise today at 8:36 a.m.
