Belizeans stranded in El Salvador advised to contact Embassy for repatriation

By BBN Staff: The Embassy of Belize in El Salvador issued an advisory for all Belizeans in El Salvador at the time borders closed to contact the embassy there for repatriation.

The Embassy is working with the International Organization for Migration – IOM, to facilitate your return. We kindly remind you to register your request to return by filling out the application form available at mfa.gov.bz.”

The International Organization for Migration (IOM), in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through its Embassies and Consulates, can provide assistance through the AVR Program for stranded Belizeans in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. IOM is able to assist with repatriation and quarantine costs for people who qualify.
