Highlighting High Achiever – Adrian Palma of Saint Ignatius High’s 2020 Grad Class

By BBN Staff: Sixteen-year-old Adrian Palma of Santa Elena, Cayo is awarded third place overall of his graduating class of 2020 at Saint Ignatius High School in Santa Elena, Cayo.

Adrian excelled throughout his high school years with 4.0 Grade Point Average in third and fourth forms. Saint Ignatius High is scheduled to have its virtual graduation on Saturday, May 30, 2020.

Adrian says that his family was ecstatic about his achievements in high school.

“It feels absolutely amazing to be third place overall for the entire fourth form in my school. This is incredible for me because it means that I am one of the best students at my high school. My family was so proud of me when we all got the news that I was one of the top students from the graduating class of 2020,” Palma expressed.

Palma also extended gratitude to his educators and friends for their encouragement and support.

Palma dreams of becoming a Business Law attorney.

“My current goal is to gain a scholarship at one of the most prestigious universities in Belize, Galen University. This is my goal because I look forward to furthering my education in the business field and become one of the best attorneys for business law in Belize. I have no doubt in my mind for this goal because I know that with hard work and perseverance I can accomplish anything,” Adrian said.

He encourages all students to set their goals high and to remain focused.

“Set your goals high, stay focused and don’t stop till you get there!” Palma said.
