Belmopan man survives chopping after argument

By Aaron Humes: A man from the San Martin section of Belmopan was stabbed Sunday after an argument.

Police had no further details on the ordeal of 39-year-old Porfilio Ico, a handyman.

His mother told reporters the incident happened as they were socializing and that Ico had sustained wounds to his stomach and hand, but she was not clear as to why her son was targeted by a friend of his and the family.

Ico was recovering at Western Regional Hospital in Belmopan, having survived the night.
