By BBN Staff: The new innovative program of the Belize City Council is garnering much positive attention.

The soon-to-be-launched Accelerator program will assist Belize City residents who have lost their jobs into creating or opening up small businesses with a grant funding of up to $1,200 from the Belize City Council.

Today, Jose Miranda, accountant at Blue Coral Management – Almog Holdings presented a cheque for a $20,000 contribution to Mayor Bernard Wagner and the Belize City Council on behalf of the company.

This is a contribution to the City’s Accelerator Program geared at fostering entrepreneurship in Belize City.
