Lord Ashcroft COVID-19 relief fund donates over $900,000 more for medical equipment

By BBN Staff: The Lord Ashcroft COVID-19 relief fund continues to work with the Ministry of Health in their ongoing efforts to combat COVID-19 in Belize.

Further financial support was granted in the amount of $992, 759.65 for the procurement of more medical equipment.

Those supplies include:

1 extraction machine

1 video laryngoscope

1 blood gas analyzer

12 cartridge for blood gas analyzer

300 infrared thermometers

50 nebulizers

Assorted ventilator supplies

Oxygen masks and cannulas

Chairman of the fund, Lyndon Guiseppi met with Prime Minister, Dean Barrow to hand over the cheque.

Combined with the previous donation, the fund has expended over $2 million to the Ministry of Health.

The Ministry of Health expressed appreciation for the support and generous assistance.
