By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: “I can almost see it, That dream I’m dreaming ……”- The Climb
June 1, 2020 makes 13 years that I graduated from high school, but every year, I get the same jitters when I view beautiful photos of families enjoying the accomplishments of their loved ones.
The year 2020, however, has brought it’s unique challenges around the world and has directly affected the Class of 2020.
The Class of 2020, though, remains one of the most resilient graduating group of students, for surviving and thriving amidst a global pandemic.
Class of 2020, you are special, resilient, brave, hardworking, goal-oriented and now, stronger than ever!
Yes, we miss the pomp and circumstance, we will miss the marching and most of all, we will miss getting to see our classmates and teachers for one last celebration.
But, know that your school, teachers, family and friends are proud of your accomplishments and dedication to your education!
So, enjoy the picture taking, cozy family dinner celebrations and be proud of your achievements! You did it!
Congratulations!
“There’s always gonna be another mountain……..I’m always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be an uphill battle……….Sometimes I’m gonna have to lose
Ain’t about how fast I get there……Ain’t about what’s waiting on the other side
It’s the climb”- The Climb
