Two including minor charged with George Street burglary

By Aaron Humes: Police have arrested and charged a minor, 16, and a 35-year-old man with burglary and committing a breach of curfew.

Police responded to a burglary in progress reported around 4:30 a.m. Thursday morning at the corner of George Street and Water Lane.

The detainees – the minor and 35-year-old Anthony August were found with a cash register, a basket of assorted groceries and other items.

The items were identified as belonging to business owner Manuel Castillo.
