By Aaron Humes: The curfew hours have been slightly altered under new regulations.
Children sixteen and under may be out with a responsible adult between 5 a.m. and 8 a.m. for the purpose of traveling to a babysitter or exercising and between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. from Sundays to Thursdays, and up to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
Essential purposes remain emergencies, purchasing household goods, going to approved businesses, essential workers going to or from work and exercise by jogging, running, walking or cycling.
Social distancing is in effect but masks will not be necessary while exercising.
A.G. Peyrefitte explicitly outlawed bicycle races, as these do not offer sufficient social distancing.
