Belmopan mother requests help due to flooding

By BBN Staff: A woman from Belen Street in the Maya Mopan area of Belmopan is asking for assistance as flooding conditions in her yard worsens.

The mother of three told our newsroom that the flooding has gotten to the point where the water is coming into her house which brings safety and health concerns for her and her children.

She can be reached at 604-5258. Anyone with the capability to render assistance is encouraged to do so. The heavy rains brought on by a tropical disturbance, which was upgraded to Tropical Storm Amanda have affected many people in the Cayo district.
