Benjamin Reid was shot, post-mortem reveals

By BBN Staff: A post mortem examination conducted today showed that Benjamin Reid, 23, whose body was found in a shallow grave off the George Price Highway last night, died from a gunshot wound.

A medical officer conducted the on-site post mortem examination today, at an area behind Tapir bar located around Mile 3 on the highway, and determined that the Reid had died from gunshot wounds to the head.

Reid had been missing since May 14 and was last seen alive in Belize City. We will be following up with the police to see if anyone has been detained in connection with this latest murder.
