Post mortem concludes that Benjamin Reid was shot to the head

By BBN Staff: On Sunday, May 31, authorities discovered the body of a man in a shallow grave near Tapir Bar at 3 Miles George Price Highway in Belize City.

The victim was observed to have apparent gunshot injury to the head.

On June 1, 2020, a post mortem examination was conducted on site and confirmed that the victim died due to perforating injury to the head due to gunshot.

Gina Wage, Benjamin Reid’s aunt who had initially made a missing persons report for him identified the remains to be that of her nephew, Benjamin.

Investigation is ongoing.
