The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that moist and unstable weather conditions are expected to continue today.
The 24-hour forecast says that skies will be generally cloudy with a few showers, periods of rain or isolated thunderstorms developing, especially over the north.
A flood warning is in effect for low lying and flood-prone areas and communities near rivers and streams.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 78 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be gusty, blowing Southeast at 10-20 knots and the sea state will be rough.
A small craft caution is in effect for gusty winds and rough seas.
High tide will come in at 8:17 a.m. and low tide occur at 3:36 p.m.
The sun will set at 6:25 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 5:31 p.m.
