Placencia residents seek help in recovering stolen boat

By BBN Staff: A family from Placencia is asking the public to be on the lookout for their boat that was recently stolen.

The vessel, named Hanny, is white with red stripes, a blue bottom, and bears the registration number SC-0926. The vessel was stolen with three Yamaha outboard engines.

The theft happened yesterday in Riverdale Village, Placencia. The boat was one of several thefts that happened in the area.

Anyone with information on either the vessel or the engines is asked to contact the Belize Coast Guard or call 668-9846 or 622-8726.
