Female minor raped in her own home

By BBN Staff: A report coming out of Belize City is that a female minor was raped in her own home on Saturday.

The minor’s mother told the police that she left her daughter home and went to work on Saturday. Later in the day, the minor contacted her mother to say that the woman’s (her mother’s) son in law had forced her to have sex with him.

A subsequent medical examination proved that the minor had engaged in sexual intercourse.

Police are seeking a 43-year-old man in connection with this incident.
