Weather beginning to clear up

The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that weather conditions will become less moist and unstable over the country today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with some cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers will be isolated along with the chance of an isolated thunderstorm developing.

A flood watch is in effect for low lying and flood-prone areas and communities along rivers and streams.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 81 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

High tide will come in at 10:29 a.m. and low tide occur at 6:03 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:26 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 8:53 p.m.
