The National Meteorological Service of Belize’s latest weather report says that very warm weather conditions are expected today and that people countrywide, particularly inland, should be cautious.

The 24-hour forecast calls for mostly sunny skies today and partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers or thunderstorms, if any, will be isolated and occurring inland.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 91 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 99 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 86 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 83 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 77 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 72 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

“Residents, especially those inland, are advised to stay hydrated and avoid direct sunlight as much as possible,” the Met Service said.

Winds will be blowing East-Southeast at 10-20 knots, and the sea state will be moderate.

High tide will come in at 12:02 p.m. and low tide will occur at 7:42 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:26 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 10:17 p.m.
