Posted: Thursday, June 11, 2020. 1:58 pm CST.

By Aaron Humes: While expanding the limit on social gatherings to 100 people for parties, weddings, etc., Attorney General Michael Peyrefitte explained that it is limited to private gatherings and public events that are not for profit.

This includes funerals, wakes, trips out of town, social clubs and fraternal meetings.

Police can still inquire about one’s purposes for traveling.

Gymnasiums can open subject to National Sports Council regulations.

Restaurants are limited to ten persons in a party by reservation six feet apart per table.

Spas, massage parlors and so on are open by appointment and limited to two persons (or one if the space cannot fit for social distancing). So too are casinos and gaming establishments subject to no smoking, drinking, etc.

Churches are open for 100 persons including children, and pastors and priests are exempt from wearing masks during the service.

Sports can return except for competitive events.
