Moist airflow brings more rain

The National Meteorological Service of Belize’s latest weather report says that a relatively moist northeasterly airflow prevails over the country, bringing more rain.

The 24-hour forecast calls for some cloudy spells with generally isolated showers and thunderstorms occurring this morning, then a few more developing mostly over central and southern areas later today.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East-Northeast at 00-10 knots, and the sea state will be slight.

Low tide will occur at 9:07 a.m. and high tide will come in at 2:43 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:27 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 12:16 a.m.
