By BBN Staff: Santa Elena business owner, Luis Valdez, 62, reported to police that his store, Tienda la Gracia de Dios, was targeted by thieves around 11:30 yesterday.

According to Valdez, he was inside his establishment, located on the George Price Highway when two Hispanic men entered. One was wearing a white T-shirt and the other in a black shirt with a black hat and face mask.

Valdez said they approached the counter and one of the men pulled out a silver handgun and pointed it in his face. The thief then hit him on the right side of the head with the gun and demanded money.

The thieves escaped and made off with $300 cash and an iPhone valued at $1300.
