Testing continues; no new case of COVID-19

By BBN Staff: The Director of Health Services informed that on Friday, June 12, 2020, a record number of SARS-CoV2 tests were completed.

The Ministry of Health conducted 120 tests and all returned negative.

The batch of tests included some repatriated Belizeans.

Up to date, the Ministry has conducted 1,896 tests of which 1,866 are negative.

17 tests remain under investigation and Belize currently has 2 active cases of COVID-19.
