Moist and unstable weather ahead

The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that relatively moist and unstable conditions will prevail today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy spells with isolated showers and thunderstorms occurring this morning, increasing over inland areas this afternoon, and over the south and coastal areas tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 93 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 76 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 73 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be null blowing at 00 knots, and the sea state will be slight-light chop.

Low tide will occur at 11:43 a.m. and high tide will come in at 5:11 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:28 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 1:24 a.m.
