Weather conditions remain moist and unstable

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that relatively moist and unstable conditions continue to dominate our weather.

The 24-hour forecast is for sunny with some cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur mostly over the sea and along some coastal areas this morning and tonight and over inland areas this afternoon.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 73 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East at 05-10 knots, and the sea state will be light chop-choppy.

High tide came in at 5:45 a.m. and low tide will occur at 12:45 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:28 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 1:59 a.m.
