By Aaron Humes: Director of Health Services Dr. Marvin Manzanero indicated at the start of today’s Ask The Experts that case 19 may be on the way to recovery and case 21 is in quarantine and recovering.

Case 19, who returned on a cruise ship on May 31, recently tested negative and a second test is due today.

Case 21 returned last week and was tested on arrival.

This is important as Belize continues to receive repatriated Belizeans, who go into automatic quarantine on their return.

Belize continues to look for testing options as we prepare to potentially reopen to tourists but concrete plans are still being developed.
