Tropical wave to bring more rain

The latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that a tropical wave is expected to support moist and unstable conditions over the next couple of days
.
The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy spells today with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms over the entire country, especially in the south tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 80 degrees Fahrenheitin the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East at 10-20 knots, and the sea state will be choppy.

“A flood warning remains in place for all regions of the country,” the Met Service said.

High tide came in at 9:27 a.m. and low tide will occur at 4:59 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:30 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 6:29 a.m.
