By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health, via the Office of the Director of Health Services, has confirmed a 23rd case of COVID-19 in Belize.
According to MOH, the person is a young woman who returned on Friday’s repatriation flight of Belizean from abroad. She is reportedly asymptomatic with no treatment required.
She went into immediate quarantine as part of established protocol.
She was one of 40 people who returned on the flight. The Ministry says it continues its heightened surveillance.
