Police seek Toledo farmer for chopping incident

By BBN Staff: Police in Toledo are seeking farmer, Antonio Ogaldez, for a chopping incident which reportedly happened in San Antonio village early on Monday morning.

According to police, officers visited a residence in San Antonio belonging to Estevan Bolon, 30, where he told cops he and Ogaldez were at the house when Paulino Paquil, 47, showed up under the influence of liquor and fired a punch at Ogaldez. His punch missed and Ogaldez responded by drawing for his machete and inflicting a large chop wound and a cut to Paquil’s right ear.

After realizing what he had done, Ogaldez fled the scene.

Paquil was transported to Southern Regional Hospital. Police visited Ogaldez’s house however he was not at home.
