Testing continues for COVID-19 as Belize monitors 4 active cases

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health continues to conduct testing as it monitors 4 active cases of COVID-19.

As of today, the Ministry has conducted 2,043 tests of which 2,010 returned negative and 56 are under investigation.

Belize has now registered 23 cases of COVID-19 and 2 deaths.

Patient #23 is a young female who arrived on the repatriation flight on Friday, and MOH says she is asymptomatic with no treatment required.

She went into immediate quarantine upon arrival as part of the established protocol.
