Chinese businessman robbed in Punta Gorda

By BBN Staff: Police are investigating a robbery that took place in Punta Gorda Town yesterday.

Reports are that sometime after 6:40 p.m. two men entered Happy Store at the corner of West Street and Cemetery Lane and pulled a gun on the owner, Zhuo Sheng, 50.

One held the gun on Sheng while the other ransacked the counter and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured in the incident. Currently, police do not have anyone detained in connection with the incident.
