Fair weather returns

Posted: Thursday, June 25, 2020. 8:41 am CST.

The latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize (Met Service) says that today’s weather will be fair and hazy.

The 24-hour forecast states that skies will be partly cloudy and hazy, with isolated showers, if any.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 93 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 82 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 73 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be gusty, blowing East at 15-25 knots, and the sea state will be moderate-rough.

“A small craft caution remains in effect for gusty winds and locally rough seas. Hazy conditions may reduce visibility,” the Met Service said.

Low tide occurred at 6:24 a.m. and high tide will come in at 12:30 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:30 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 9:27 a.m.
