By Aaron Humes: All passengers traveling to Belize will be asked to download the ‘Belize Health App’ and complete information before traveling as part of Belize’s re-opening of the Philip Goldson International Airport to international leisure travel, said Director of Tourism Karen Bevans.

There will be the option for a PCR COVID-19 test 72 hours before arrival and tourists will be asked to book accommodations before traveling.

All visitors on arrival, Bevans said, will be asked to follow the country’s health protocols.

Bevans noted that this is the third phase of a process that started in May with the opening of hotels to locals and repatriation, followed by repatriation flights in early June.
