Patients quarantined to be released after receiving 2nd negative swab

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health informed that test results received yesterday include second negative tests for those completing their 14 day quarantine and have since been released.

Authorities are currently monitoring 4 active cases.

Belize registered a new case of COVID-19 yesterday bringing the total to 24 cases.

The patient is a Honduran national who had been caught in Belizean waters and is currently under mandatory quarantine in Dangriga. The person is asymptomatic.

The Ministry is also monitoring  another recovered case for a total of 3 active cases plus the patient detected yesterday.
