“More rains expected today,” says Met Service

The latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize (Met Service) says that an increase in showers is forecast for today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for some cloudy spells with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms over most places today, with activity decreasing and becoming isolated with a few more over the south tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 90 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 81 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 75 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East at 05-15 knots, and the sea state will be choppy.

Low tide occurred at 10:05 a.m. and high tide will come in at 3:55 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:31 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 10:20 p.m.
