Attorney General: No more curfew beginning July 1

Posted: Monday, June 29, 2020. 3:40 pm CST.

By BBN Staff: On Ask the Experts today, Attorney General Micheal Peyrefitte stated that as of Wednesday, July 1, 2020, there will be no more curfew.

The state of emergency expires on June 30, 2020.

Therefore, the public is free to roam in terms of time but even without a curfew, there is still a law against wandering and loitering.

The AG reminded that if anyone is wandering without a purpose, they can be charged.

Anyone caught drunk in a public place can also be charged.
