By BBN Staff: Forbes Magazine, a US-based publication often seen as synonymous with wealth and high society has mentioned Belize several times in travel writing pieces for 2020, the latest of which highlights Belize as a top destination for travelers seeking the best beaches in the Caribbean.

The article, titled “The Top Caribbean Beaches For 2020,” featured top picks for baches in: Anguilla, Antigua, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica, Curacao, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Martinique, Nevis, Puerto Rico, St,
Barth, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St, Maarten, Saint Vincent-and-the-Grenadines, St. Croix, St. John, Trinidad-and-Tobago,
Turks and Caicos, US Virgin Islands.

The article highlighted Hopkins Bay Beach as a prime destination for beach lovers visiting Belize but noted that close runners up include Ambergris Caye, Silk Cayes, Caye Caulker, and Placencia.

“Enjoy the feeling of seclusion on your own patch of perfect beach, while being close to all the happenings of the local village. Take a kayak out to see the sunset over Victoria’s Peak, one of Belize’s highest mountains,” Forbes said.

Earlier this month, Forbes also featured Belize as one of 11 best places for residency and a second passport.
