Five-year-old Solange climbs Mount Mossy

By BBN Staff: Meet 5-year-old Solange Mangandib of Cayo. Solange is a model for Adma’s Photos but this weekend, she enjoyed a different outdoor experience when they hiked Mount Mossy.

Solange joined her parents and relatives on a hike up Mount Mossy.

The trek was rough, said Solange’s dad, but they made it to the top. Demonstrating her bravery, enthusiasm and commitment to reaching the top, Solange made the trek along with dad, Miguel Mangandib, Marlene, her aunt, Roxy, cousin Anderson and their guide, Wendy Garcia. The family spent 3 days to reach the top of the mountain.

Mount Mossy is a peak in Stann Creek, Belize. The estimate terrain elevation above sea level is 693 metres.

Mount mossy rises to 3,200 feet and is located in the west of Middlesex in Sittee Forest Reserve.
