Hattieville man busted with marijuana

By BBN Staff: Police have arrested and charged 27-year-old Hattieville mechanic, Davane Evans, with drug-related offenses.

Reports are that San Ignacio police approached Evans around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday while he was sitting in his car which was parked in front of Lin’s Supermarket and conducted a search on him. They found marijuana on him and took him to the station where they searched his vehicle and found some more.

Taken together, it all weighed 1.9 pounds. Following the search, police officially charged Evans for “Possession of a Controlled Drugs with Intent to supply to another.”
