Mexico registers 3,805 new COVID-19 cases

By BBN Staff: As of June 29, 2020, Mexico has registered 3,805 new COVID-19 cases and 473 more deaths.

The count brings the total number of cases to over 221,000 and 27, 121 deaths.

On Monday, the country began allowing more businesses to re-open after almost 3 months of lockdown.

The country is one of the worst COVID-19 hit countries in Latin America.

The country has begun its phased re-opening of businesses and small shops.

Belize continues to closely monitor the cases in neighboring countries.
