Unstable weather continues

The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that relatively moist and unstable conditions will continue over the country today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy spells with a few showers or periods of rain and isolated thunderstorms mainly over the south and coast this morning and tonight, becoming isolated during the afternoon.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 82 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 73 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East at 05-15 knots, and the sea state will be slight-light chop.

High tide came in at 7:58 a.m. and low tide will occur at 3:30 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:31 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 5:21 p.m.
