Cement truck overturns on Placencia Road, one injured

By Aaron Humes: Motorists in the area of the Placencia Road, Stann Creek District, are advised to approach with caution at the section of the road a mile from the village dump site, near the site of the proposed international airport following a traffic mishap moments ago.

According to eyewitness accounts, a cement mixer truck overturned on the road, completely blocking it and the driver apparently injured in his legs.

It is not clear if other persons were injured as well at this time.

Drivers are advised to take the side path off the road to avoid the accident scene and are urged to exercise caution.
