By BBN Staff: Raheem Miles, 23, was killed in a shooting incident that occurred last night around 7:00 p.m. at the corner of Faber’s Road and Waight Street in Belize City.
According to police, Miles was socializing with friends when they were approached by a gunman who fired several shots toward Miles, causing his fatal injuries.
He was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival around 7:08 p.m. A 20-year-old female was also shot in the incident. She was admitted to the KHMH in a stable condition. Police are investigating.
