Latest batch of COVID-19 tests come back negative

Posted: Monday, July 6, 2020. 6:15 pm CST.

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health (MOH) reported today that the latest batch of COVID-19 tests has all come back negative.

The MOH released its latest infographic on its social media pages, explaining that some 38 samples were processed today, and all of them tested negative for SARS-CoV2, the virus which causes the disease COVID-19.

“…majority of these being from the flights that arrived on Friday, July 3rd (some pending for tomorrow),” the Ministry said.

The ministry added that there are still nine active cases within the country and asks the community to continue practicing the necessary prevention measures such as social distancing and the wearing of masks. The ministry notes that evidence being shared in the scientific community internationally shows that the situation with the virus is evolving and ushering in what will have to become new “normals” as the world adapts to the presence of COVID-19.
