Commissioner to city criminals: You have been warned

By Aaron Humes: The Commissioner of Police, as he promised yesterday, has responded swiftly to the increased level of violence in the Old Capital.

All of Southside Belize City is now under a state of emergency, but the Police are specifically going after those causing trouble for residents and businesses.

Those currently walking the straight and narrow path are asked to keep doing so.

One way the State of Emergency strangles the criminal lifestyle, said Williams, is to stop the flow of communication that causes intimidation and coercion.
