“Mainly fair weather persists”, says Met Service

By BBN Staff: The latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that mainly fair weather conditions are expected today.

The 24-hour forecast will be mostly sunny and slightly hazy today then partly cloudy tonight with showers being isolated.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 93 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 83 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 75 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East at 10-20 knots, and the sea state will be choppy-moderate.

High tide will come in at 11:02 a.m. and low tide will occur at 6:29 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:31 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 8:53 p.m.
