Branch Mouth Hammock Bridge repaired

Posted: Friday, July 10, 2020. 7:43 pm CST.

By BBN Staff: The hammock bridge in Branch Mouth, Cayo has been repaired by the Ministry of Works.

The bridge was destroyed in March when a tree fell on it.

Since then, residents from Santa Familia have been unable to utilize the bridge.

Santa Familia residents are relieved that the bridge has been repaired and they can now use it to travel to and from San Ignacio Town.

The hammock bridge has been used for many years by residents to cross over into San Ignacio and back to Santa Familia Village in the Cayo District.
