Police release full list of wanted posters

By BBN Staff: The Belize Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating several men who are wanted for arrest.

The department issued a full list of wanted posters this afternoon for men wanted on the strength of a detention order under the current State of Emergency regulations for gang-related offenses.

The list includes: Herman Solis, 20; Calvin Palma, 30; Jose Matus 44; Harold Usher, 23; Clarence Grant, 36; Dillon Diamond, 32; Verris Ventura, 25; Hassan Flores, 23; Jalen Babb, 20; and Abel Lara, 24.

Police commissioner Chester Williams said that the department would be aggressively seeking the men on the list as operations continue to neutralize the spike of violent crime plaguing Belize City. The SOE began this week, following the murders of Raheem Faber and Raheem Myles. Police say their intelligence shows the murders were, in fact, gang-related.

“If they go into a crab hole, we will dig them out,” Williams said.
