By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize’s latest weather report says that a tropical wave will bring showers to various parts of the country throughout the day and into tonight.
The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy at times with some showers, thunderstorms or periods of light rain, mainly over inland and southern areas this morning. Then, activity will become isolated this afternoon with a few more over the south.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 82 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be blowing East-Northeast at 00-10 knots, and the sea state will be slight.
“There is a possibility for localized flooding, especially near rivers and streams in the south,”. the Met Service said.
The low tide began at 7:30 a.m. and high tide will come in at 1:15 a.m.
The sun will set at 6:31 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 10:48 p.m.
