By BBN Staff: The Government of Belize issued a statement just now stating that it is aware of media reports of a decision to lockdown the Orange Walk District due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases.
However, contrary to those reports, no such decision or consideration has been made by the National Oversight Committee.
The public is encouraged to continue to follow the official pages for official announcements of such decisions.
